Weisman Sport is also proud to introduce the addition of team-specific programs for our local clubs who are concerned about, or need assistance with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), more specifically concussions. Weisman Sport offers complete therapeutic evaluation and management of concussions to assist in returning to play and helping to prevent long term consequences.

Did you know that a concussion is one of the most common injuries sustained by children and teens? Each year more than 136,000 TBIs, including concussions, are reported in high school sports with most injuries occurring in football and soccer. In addition, young children and teens are more likely to get a concussion than adults and those that end up concussed, have an increased risk for another traumatic brain injury. At Weisman Sport, we help our athletes and families not only identify the symptoms of their condition but guide them through the rehabilitation process so they can get back on their feet. Our specialists work to alleviate or manage symptoms related to the areas of vestibular rehab, functional visual skills, physical exertion training, headache management and cognitive and linguistic training.
