Who We Are

Why choose Weisman?

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital (WCRH) understands a child or adolescent's rehabilitation needs are different from an adult. For that reason, every aspect of our programs and services are centered on addressing the unique (rehabilitative and medical) needs of all our patients and their families. Our physicians and staff have extensive experience working with children and adolescents to create a treatment plan specifically designed to help achieve goals that will maximize function and recovery.

Families are a part of our team:

WCRH provides family centered care. We permit one parent to stay overnight with each child. Families are encouraged to participate in the care of their child. No one knows your son or daughter better that you and we value your input. WCRH will support your family each step of the way as you work toward recovery and return to home.

What to expect:

Rehabilitation is work and is even exhausting at times. Each patient will have a schedule for therapy and nursing care. Between therapy sessions, patients may return to their private and/or semi- private rooms to relax, or they may spend time in our play room or teen lounge. Educational services are incorporated into the day as needed.
