For Children with Disabilities:

New Jersey Division of Disabilities (DDD) – Funds a wide array of services intended to help support individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in the community.

Supplementary Security Income (SSI) – This program pays benefits to disabled adults and children who have limited income and resources.

Family Support Center of New Jersey - A clearinghouse of up-to-date information on a national, state and local family support programs, services and disabilities. The Center offers a "One-Stop-Shopping" approach to individuals seeking information on disabilities and services by providing them with easy access to a comprehensive array of services.

Disability Rights New Jersey – Provides a wide array of services for people with disabilities, including advocacy, training and promoting public awareness.

Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund - Provides eligible families with financial assistance to help them cover medical expenses that were previously incurred because their child became catastrophically ill or injured. Covered expenses include, but are not limited to, special ambulatory care, acute or specialized in- or out-patient hospital care, medical equipment, medically-related home modifications, home health care and medical transportation. 

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services – Assists individuals with disabilities who are having difficulties finding a job due to their disability.

New Jersey Statewide Parent-to-Parent – A statewide network of parents supporting families of children with developmental delays, disabilities and other special needs. (800) 372-6510

For Spinal Cord Injury:

The Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center - Promotes the health and well-being of people living with spinal cord injury, paralysis and mobility impairment by providing comprehensive information, resources and referral services.

Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center – Provides information helping to explain basic anatomy, physiology, and the complications resulting from a spinal cord injury. Also has message board and chat room.

Traumatic Brain Injury:

Brain Injury Association of New Jersey – Provides resources, support and education for people with brain injury and their families. 

Transportation:

New Jersey Find A Ride – A directory of accessible transportation options for people with disabilities and others in New Jersey who don't have easy, reliable access to private automobile transportation

Accessible Services from New Jersey Transit – Provides a description of accessible services available to people with disabilities.

Access Link – Services provided by New Jersey Transit which provides transportation for people with disabilities who are unable to use the local fixed route bus.
