Our Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation program empowers patients and their families to overcome physical limitations and return to a typical daily routine. Our primary goal is move your child from debilitating pain to full participation in school, leisure activities and sports. Through direct therapeutic intervention (physical, occupational, recreational therapies, and psychology services) we work as a team to develop effective coping strategies so your child can get back to doing what they enjoy most.
Your child will participate in 5-6 hours of direct therapy each day, six days a week. Our rehabilitation team, along with your child, work together to set and achieve individualized daily, weekly, and long term goals. You are valued members in the care of your child. We strongly encourage family involvement in the weekly team meetings.
Diagnoses we treat include, but are not limited to:
Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome – AMPS
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome – CRPS
Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy – RSD
Reflex Neurotropic Dystrophy – RND
