As you are aware, the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has emerged in the United States. As always, we take infection prevention very seriously at Weisman Children’s. We are following CDC recommendations and are communicating with the NJ Department of Health for ongoing guidance.
As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times and adapt to protect our patients, families and staff, and in an effort to keep everyone healthy and safe, we feel we must suspend in-person Outpatient Therapy sessions beginning Monday, March 23rd at 8am.
Between March 23rd and March 25th, our staff will look to adapt their care plans for the current situation. On Wednesday, March 25th at 8am, we will begin the initial stages of our telemedicine program. A Weisman Children’s representative will reach out to each of our existing patient’s families to discuss the best way to continue your child’s care plan and ongoing rehabilitation. We will continue to accept inquiries for new evaluations during this time.
As we continue to adjust our services to meet your needs within the current environment, we understand this may be an inconvenience for you but please know we have your family’s best interest and safety in mind. We apologize in advance and ask for your patience as we work together to remain safe at this time but continue to provide the care your children deserve.
Please continue to follow us on Facebook and check our website for any additional updates or news.
Thank you for your continued support.
