Every Child is Unique
When your child or adolescent is referred to Weisman Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital, he or she is thoroughly evaluated by our expert staff members, who are specially trained to treat children. A comprehensive care plan, which includes specialized programs and therapies, is then individually tailored for your child. As your child moves through our Continuum of Care, this plan evolves and changes to best accommodate his or her needs. We also understand that family is an integral part of the healing process, so we value input from family members every step of the way.

Families Have Special Needs Too
Your family is the one constant in your child’s life, which is why we encourage you to be actively involved in his or her care. Weisman knows that when a child hurts, the whole family is affected. We offer emotional support, training, and education to help families cope with their child’s needs.

A Caring, Supportive Staff
We offer a compassionate, diverse medical staff, including specialists in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation and pediatric pulmonology. Our physical, occupational, speech/language, and recreational therapists have extensive pediatric training and experience. All staff members participate in ongoing professional education and specialty credentialing to ensure expertise in state-of-the-art pediatric diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions. We are passionate and dedicated, and we continually strive toward smoothly and successfully transitioning children back into their home, school, and community.
